Gee snowboards' predecessor was the G-Snowboard Manufacturing Workshop, which was founded in Kyoto in 2012 Launched the Sashiko embroidery series (2018) and the Citypop series (2020). Inspired by the main designer of Neighborhood, Shinsuke Takizawa's "Made with pride" We persist in using high-quality materials and exquisite craftsmanship to produce products. Many of the inspirations for creating products come from Japanese anime, Citypop, electronic music, and street trends. We hope to bring more relaxed and joyful products to the younger generation of consumers.
The first single product released by the manufacturer
Inspired by the ubiquitous vending machines on the streets, the initial intention was to humorously challenge
the overwhelming traditional European and American aesthetic design of snowboards, but unexpectedly,
during the snow season, it received unexpected praise from good friends in the circle.
Then the G-Snowboard Manufacturing has persisted.
Sashiko embroidery is a traditional craft from the Tohoku region of Japan.
The Tohoku region also has a large number of ski resorts,
Exploratory attempts have been made to combine the two.
Six classic Sashiko embroidery patterns and one denim pattern were selected to form this snowboard.
In honor of the founder's painful experience of twisting his ankle 180°during a one-footed glide,
a special model has been released (it really hurt!).
Please remember to pay attention to safety when snowboarding!!
In 2023, an invitation was received to collaborate with Crayon Shinchan Company,
which also loves snowboarding,
to create the 24-25Crayon Shinchan X Gee Snowboards capsule collection.
